EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA TAKES PLACE SATURDAY, MARCH 26

     COACHELLA — Desert Recreation District will host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Veteran’s Park.

     Registration will begin at 10 a.m. for the free egg hunt activities, which begin at 11 a.m. Three different egg hunts will take place simultaneously for children in three different age groups, including ages 0 to 4; 5 to 7; and 8 to 12. 

     The egg hunts will feature plastic eggs, which will be filled with toys or candy. 

     “We will also have face painting, potato sack races and other family festival type activities,” said Noelle Furon, public information and marketing officer for Desert Recreation District.
