COACHELLA, Calif. (May 7, 2018) – Enjoy the warmer weather with a fun family gathering in downtown Coachella! Each Sunday in May, the City of Coachella and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to Veterans Park for free Latin music concerts, car shows, lawn games, bounce houses, art exhibits and more.

Each weekend offers free concerts featuring a different musical style. Enjoy the mariachi sounds of Jalisco Es Mi Tierra on May 13. On May 20, Nacho Bustillos entertains the crowds with live ranchera and cumbia music. Adrian Crush wraps up the Suavecito Sunday performances as they take the stage for an energetic show featuring reggaeton and bachata music.

Car clubs and other auto aficionados will enjoy the classic cars and more on display each week. Be sure to stop by the Conserve Coachella booth, where the Coachella Water Authority & Sanitary District will offer water-saving tips along with giveaways, raffles and kids’ activities featuring Conservation Carla the Aquapotamus.

The free Suavecito Sundays will be held on May 13, 20 and 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Veterans Park, 1515 Sixth Street, Coachella. There are still spots available for vendors. Interested parties should contact the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce at (760) 398-8089 to reserve a spot.
