Dia De Los Muertos Events
Coachella’s three Dia De Los Muertos events position city as epicenter of valley Day of the Dead celebration
The City of Coachella and the Coachella Chamber of Commerce have partnered to organize and host three regional events celebrating the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday. As a part of the city’s plan to become a heritage hub of the Coachella Valley, participation from residents and visitors across the valley is encouraged. Dia De Los Muertos USA is a two-day festival of Mexican music, food and culture. The second annual Run With Los Muertos 5K event is a healthy way to honor lost loved ones. This event will feature food vendors, a beer garden, live music and dancing. Thousands of runners are expected to take part wearing costumes or t-shirts that honor their loved ones, as well as glow-in-the-dark gear. Dia De Los Muertos Forest Lawn is a spiritual celebration featuring religious services, music, entertainment, and art from local artists with Raices Cultura.
