Rubberized Emulsion Aggregate Slurry (REAS) is an environmentally friendly product that contains granulated tire rubber produced from used passenger and truck tires. This project prevented 9,800 waste tires from being deposited in local California landfills. To put this into perspective, for every lane mile of REAS 150 waste tires are used.
